CeCe buys herself a purse for Christmas and has no money left for her mom’s scarf. She gets herself a couple of jobs at the mall to earn money. Meanwhile, Rocky tries to make a young boy’s Christmas wish come true and Deuce reluctantly invites Dina to join his family for some Christmas caroling. However, Dina is a bad singer, and Deuce can’t tell her because she might break up with him.

On the dance-themed comedy, CeCe Jones (Bella Thorne) and Rocky Blue (Zendaya) fulfill their dreams of becoming professional hoofers when they land roles on the local show “Shake It Up, Chicago!” On the hour-long season premiere, CeCe and Rocky risk being cut from the show when they audition for a reality show.

Shake It Up has a bevy of guests lined up for the sophomore season: Marissa Jaret Winokur as a dance teacher; Ben Savage as a critical dance blogger; and The Middle’s Atticus Shaffer (Brick!) as a neighbor kid who may or may not be an alien.
